In todays class I got my pictures approved with the faculty and selected 3 pictures out of the 9. They were:
I was very confused what to do next and how to use these pictures because i would’nt be able to find replacement pictures in the archive to depict the exact same story because my storyboard is too specific and detailed. Moreover, its difficult to form a new story with these too.
After a lot time in vain, finally an idea appeared to me. I realized that all of the pictures were related to social media and thus i could do something very general related to it, like the dominance and effects of social media.
So, for my video I thought of first showing all the healthy personal and social activities like exercising, get-togethers, spending family time, reading books, embracing nature etc and then showing the gradual dominance of social media over all these, and finally, the consequences of it like loneliness, depression.
I decided that the slideshow would get faster and faster as it went from the first to the third part and the music wold get more intense. Although I needed to put a lot of pictures and clips for this which was not allowed as per the brief.
