Today’s class was very brief. Today, the faculty first reviewed our 2d map and then our concept for the final 3d installation. Honestly, we were still touching up our 2d map and had’nt yet come up with a collectively discussed concept for the model. We were a bit disorientated on how to go about with it…how exactly do we have to show the area? whether its really ‘mapping’ or is it just an abstract model which depicts the area’s characteristics.
In this class, we gathered ourselves together and tried to understand what exactly was needed to be done. We also discussed with our classmates what they were doing and heard their opinions and ideas for our group as well. Sometimes, when we find ourselves in a creative block, talking to others is the best option. They give us a direction to go to and once they open our minds up we are able to think of the multiple pathways.
Thus, today, we started ideating for our project. We came up with two-three small ideas to which we later kept adding and adding.
