In my first imaging class, I learned the basic tools of adobe illustrator. We practiced the basic shape tools and everyone made a poster using the same. (attached below)
I also learned how there are two types of images, namely vector and raster. Raster images are pixellated and are usually encountered in photoshop. While vector images are graphic images that can be greatly expanded. All of his was very new to me. Then we also learned about the pathfinder tools and how each one made it easier to create different designs using shapes. We were given an assignment to make 6 different designs using the pathfinder tool and I enjoyed doing it. I also noted down different keyboard shortcuts for different tools.
