This was the day when we finally showed the final print of our first project layout. we then begun with the next project- coffee table book layout. she brought a few coffee table books in the class to give us an idea. Till now I didn’t know what these books are like but as i looked through 3 of them and observed its elements i got a clearer picture. I saw that the pictures were greater than the text matter and all the pictures were edited or illustrated in such a manner that they gave a very particular, relevant and aesthetic look. this was the brief the faculty gave:
- 10 * 10 dimension
- all three softwares allowed for process work
- final on in design
- content from objects as history
- 120-150 GSM paper quality
In the second lecture, we then moved to learning some new exciting tools..!
1.Content aware tool:
This tool helps us when we want to enlarge or stretch a picture but prevent the focal subject or object from getting distorted. 
if i take this image and wish to reduce the background ill use content aware scale.
Here, the picture shrinks but the size of the hay roll remains intact.
2.Touch type tool
It allows you to rotate, scale and change the position of individual letters in a word.
3.Typography inside a shape
This was one of the most interesting interesting thing i leaned.
steps: first image tracing >object on the text>object envelop distort> sub menu> make with top object option
In the process we also learned tools like image tracing, slice tool, scissor tool, etc.
