Today we discussed thoroughly how to making attractive layouts. we saw a PPT in which I learned the 5 main elements that are kept in mind while making layouts. They are:
- Proximity
- White space
- Alignment
- Hierarchy
- Repitition
We then learned about grids. Grids are structure compromising series of lines that divide a page in columns and modules. It serves as a framework for the Page’s layout and helps us arrange.
We learned how to make guidelines; how to place objects in central alignment; how to start page numbering from the middle of the pages; how to change margin sizes; how to convert texts into object; and how to make Pathfinder.
We also made a poster using clipping mask:
