In today’s class we began our second project “city exploration“. We were divided into groups and each group was asked to think of different places in Mumbai which would be interesting to explore. The faculty had an individual discussion with the groups to help us finalize the place. Following that, we discussed a number of aspects and criteria upon which we could explore.
I am genuinely excited for this project since I’m an outstation student and I have always loved exploring places and observing things. Moreover, watching the movies we were asked to, I got a very good head-start. I got a deeper perspective and a drive to explore more.
Discussing the various aspects and the different methods for research and exploration, I understood how we can understand a place and see things in a way that not everyone does. I believe, this would be very helpful in the future because, for working on something, you first need to know it inside out.
Meanwhile, in the process of discussion, I also learnt about a number of places in Mumbai I didnt know about.
