In the following class, we continued with our abstract metaphor drawings. We discussed our ideas with the faculty and got them approved with her. Many of us were struggling with the abstraction, thus the faculty asked us not to jump directly into drawing but first write key words and create a story, and then make elements representing those.
Further, we were asked to make 3D representations of those abstract sketches using file cards. File card is a material I had never worked with before. Hence, it was a very new but fun experience for me. I discussed my ideas and doubts with the faculty and learned what the right way of working with file card is. She showed us how to make different compositions and shapes with it and also how to properly cut it.
Following are some of the abstract representations of my metaphors:

The world is a book and I read every page of it.
I am a cabbage
she has heart- eyes for sunsets
she has wings, with her feet on the ground
she’s a fish out of water when it comes to sports.
she stargazes at noon
she’s an ocean, calm yet full of rage
